The image (above) shows the 'good side', as it's commonly known. The image (below) shows the reverse side. The rails not only give the fence a bit of character, they are also ideal for fixing a trellis if you wish to grow a climbing plant against the fence.

  • 1.80 m (6 ft):  0.3 m trellis / 1.2 m closeboard + 0.6 m trellis
The image (below) shows 0.6 m trellis mounted on 1.8 m ht close board featheredge fencing. This type of fencing looks good and you'll be able to train a plant to run across the top of the fence.
